Flamingo Wall, located just a 3-minute boat ride from Dive College Lanzarote, is considered one of the best dive sites in Lanzarote for observing marine life. With a maximum depth of 18 meters, this site is perfect for entry-level divers, offering a safe and manageable experience while still providing incredible underwater encounters.
Flamingo Wall stands out because of the abundance of marine biodiversity that thrives here. Divers regularly spot Angelsharks, one of Lanzarote’s most sought-after species. These sharks rest on the seabed and are known for their calm demeanour. This is one of the top spots to observe these sharks in their natural habitat.
You’ll also encounter large schools of bream, which are common in this area. These impressive schools move together in graceful patterns along the reef. Barracudas are another frequent visitor to the site, gliding powerfully through the waters, while the striking Trumpetfish can be seen weaving through the coral formations.
Flamingo Wall’s diverse marine life and easy access make it a highlight for divers of all levels. Our dive trips to Flamingo Wall take place every Wednesday and Friday at 15:00, and it remains a favourite due to its proximity and exceptional opportunities for wildlife sightings. If you’re keen to explore Lanzarote’s vibrant underwater world, this is one of the top spots to experience marine life at its best!
