Refresher dive
If you have not dived for one year or more, or if you do not have a lot of diving experience, maybe a refresher dive is just what you want. We offer a guided refresher dive every day. We refresh your knowledge of how to set up the equipment, hand signals, buoyancy control etc. You will dive from the shore together with a PADI professional giving a lot of personal attention. We start the dive very shallow and go to a maximum depth of 12 meters. After this refresher dive, our staff will recommend the perfect follow-up dive to suit your experience, for example, to Flamingo Wall or the underwater museum.
Alternatively, you can do the PADI Reactivate program and refresh your theory online and your dive skills with us. Email us for more information.

Refresher dive on our house reef in front of the dive centre

Our family of four hadn’t dived for several years, and so we needed a gentle refresher. But we also wanted to dive the Museo Atlantico. Dive College couldn’t have been more helpful, in arranging the two dives, plus all of the required kit, and they even picked us up from Puerto del Carmen. Our instructor Damian was patient and knowledgeable, and there were plenty of other staff on hand to advise. The first, refresher dive involved a shore entry and then dive along the house reef. Very gentle, 8m deep, good variety of fish, etc. The second dive involved a RIB ride to the dive site, backward roll into the water. The dive site is unlike anything dived before, with though-provoking statues submerged at around 15m. Damian gave a detailed briefing beforehand, so we knew what we were seeing. A very profound and unique dive. Plenty of fish around, barracuda hanging around, large octopus, etc.
