Diving the Fingers in Playa Blanca
The Fingers is one of the most popular dive sites near Playa Blanca and offers a fascinating underwater landscape for divers of almost all levels. Located just 10 minutes away from Dive College Lanzarote by boat, we visit this site every Tuesday at 15:00 for an exciting underwater adventure.
The dive site gets its name from its unique rock formation, which looks like a hand with outstretched fingers reaching into the sea. These natural structures create a series of ridges and valleys that attract a wide range of marine life.
The maximum depth at the Fingers is 18 meters, making it accessible for most certified divers. As you explore the fingers, you will find yourself surrounded by schools of fish. Different species of breams swim close to the rocks, while barracudas often patrol the deeper sections. Angel sharks can sometimes be spotted resting on the sandy bottom, blending perfectly with their surroundings. Along the rock formations, moray eels peek out from crevices, and rays glide gracefully over the sandy patches.
The Fingers offers plenty of opportunities for marine life encounters and underwater photography. Thanks to the varied landscape and abundant fish life, every dive here is unique.
Join Dive College Lanzarote every Tuesday afternoon to discover the magic of the Fingers. With its dramatic scenery and vibrant sea life, it is a must-visit site for anyone diving in Playa Blanca.
