Het onderwatermuseum
Museo Atlantico is het eerste onderwater beeldenmuseum in Europa. Voor mensen die geen duikbrevet hebben, bieden we een speciaal programma om het unieke Museo Atlántico te bezoeken. Dit programma bestaat uit verschillende onderdelen en duurt in totaal ongeveer 5 uur.
Het begint met een proefduik vanaf het strand. Tijdens de proefduik krijg je een uitleg van ongeveer 20 minuten waarin we ingaan op de belangrijkste duikregels. Daarna maak je samen met een instructeur een duik in zee vanaf het strand. Je mag tijdens deze eerste duik niet dieper dan 6 meter.
Na deze duik ga je in het zwembad en leer je enkele duikvaardigheden samen met je instructeur. Daarna hebben we een korte pauze en varen we met de boot in ongeveer 10 minuten naar het Museum. De beelden van het Museo Atlántico staan op een diepte van 14 meter. Omdat dit pas je tweede duik is en je niet dieper mag duiken dan 12 meter, organiseren we voor deze duik een privé-gids die ervoor zorgt dat je op 12 meter blijft. Op deze diepte kun je de beelden prima zien.
De totale prijs voor de proefduik, de zwembadles, de Museo Atlántico duik en de entree voor het Museo is 148 euro per persoon.
Als je dit programma hebt afgerond ontvang je een speciaal Museo Atlántico certificaat en we kunnen je online registreren op de PADI website als Discover Scuba Diving participant.
Bezoek Museo Atlántico als beginner met Dive College Lanzarote
Dive College Lanzarote bestaat sinds 2001 en is gevestigd in Playa Blanca, de zuidpunt van Lanzarote. Dit programma is ontworpen voor mensen die het Museo Atlantico willen bezoeken maar geen duikbrevet hebben.

You can laugh with these guys and it puts you very much at ease. I tired scuba diving for the first time at Dive college in October 2021 I was so nervous but these guys are patient. My stomach had butterflies. I had a free trial in the pool first and then a try dive. I always felt safe and looked after.I was so at ease after my first experience I came back for more in April 2022 and did another try dive and the Museum Atlantico loved it.So BACK I came again this year and have done the Flamingo wall dive. Even though still an amateur I was guided by a professional diver and it is so beautiful under the ocean. These guys are AMAZING please try it. No one could possibly have been more nervous about it than me. I DID IT not just once but 3 times. Found Dive College to be one of few that offered diving for kids (8 & 11 years old) and I booked the bubbelmaker experience through whatsapp. Upon arrival kids were geared up and got the diving instructions in their native language (Dutch). Quick tester in the swimming pool and off into the great ocean. Kids very much enjoyed their first diving experience and we have the video's and photo's to make the memory ever lasting!Verified

David N2023-04-20Great Experience, what are you waiting for? We're currently on our way back to our hotel with the transfer option they have available. It was a great experience and the under water museum was fantastic. The staff were professional, polite, accommodating and a laugh to be around. Myself and my partner highly recommend them and the museum Atlantic. We looked through all the reviews beforehand, which most negative ones seem to expect a refund because they can't tolerate the activity. If in doubt I'd suggest doing a try dive before deciding if you want to spend the extra money for a more intense experience. Thank you Dive College and all your staff for an unforgettable experience. Dale2023-04-16Fantastic entry point for anyone uncomfortable in water I (M32) took my mother (F57) along to try something out of our comfort zone. I'm not a particularly strong swimmer, but found this to be an absolutely great experience, and we're both delighted for having tried it. Throughout we were looked after and made to feel really safe.Mara picked us up and took us to the Dive College. We struggled into our wetsuits, got sorted out with flippers and snorkeling gear before heading down to the beach to swim out to the boat. Initially this felt quite daunting, but we were assured the suits would help keep us afloat, and once the flippers were on swimming in the sea -- even in choppy waves -- was really easy. Once on the boat, it was just a short 5 minute journey to the outside of Flamingo Beach, where we left the boat and entered the water. We swam around the outside of the rocks before entering the enclosed part of beach, all the while seeing a great range of life under water. Once we got into the enclosed part of the beach we spotted a few stingrays and took our time to explore. After about 25 minutes or more we slowly headed back to the boat, before getting taken back to the Dive College. We never felt rushed and was a great value (€38 for maybe 40-50 minutes in the water).Definitely something I want to do again, and felt like a great first step for trying scuba diving next time.Be sure to take towels and water for when you get out (you'll invariably drink some salt water when you're snorkeling).Verified

We were both total beginners, but Mara guided us through it and we were standing up and enjoying ourselves in no time. The session takes place in the Flamingo beach cove, so there were quite a lot of other swimmers and paddle boarders all around that we had to steer around - so not quite as private as we had expected from the photos but nonetheless had a blast and would absolutely do it again.
